Sometimes there are people you just lose

We never know what's going on with the people we pass on the streets every day. They might smile and shine bright but cry the heaviest tears inside, where no one can see them. They might dance and laugh out loud but at the same time they might die a little inside with every step they take.

Who would've thought that the person you trust the most can hurt you the most. That she can rip your heart out and engrave pain on it with a rusty knife. That she can make you wonder -Why, why was she even here then?
The answer is simple- to make you stronger and to show you that everything good can end suddenly and fall to pieces like a crystal vase dropping from a table. To teach you that you can't trust everybody if anybody. That you have to keep your guard up during every second of a minute and every hour of a day. That you must be able to move on, because elseway nothing will matter to you anymore and your world will turn grey and emotionless. And that you do not want to happen.
You have to accept that there are people you will lose during your journey. Some die and some just walk away without saying a word or waving goodbye.

Do you remember that time when we were still like sisters, planning our trip around the world. Remember that we even had the cars picked out and our "what we need" list started. Remember when we swore to be friends forever. Even if one of us was to die. But I guess those dreams are meant to be forgotten amongst the lost and missed.

I just want you to know that I actually cared about you. I would've died for you.

Halloween and Dreams Coming True

It's one of the most mystical and magical nights of the year... Samhain or as many other people know it- Halloween or All Hallows' Evening.
The rusty moon is shining in the gloomy sky, smoky clouds caulking past it. The dogs howl at the ghostly walkers who roam the streets in the late hours of the night. You can feel the magic and the souls of the people who are not that ready to let go of their life just jet.
And even though not many people celebrate Samhain here I feel like I have to put on my pointy hat and go outside to take some spectral pictures of the spooky moon outside.
The candles are sitting in a row on my table and with every breath I take I can see their flames flickering. It's such a beautiful night. It's such a beautiful life.

I love Halloween.

And now to the dreams....
I've always dreamt of singing. And singing opera seemed like such a noble mission to me. All this power that comes from inside you yourself. This voice you create that makes shivers crawl down the listeners spine and rises the hair on their arms.
I had the chance to try to sing Opera and  I grabbed the opportunity with both of my hands. I studied it for a month or two and then came the time to show my skills.. I passed the first part of the competition and I got to the finals. I was lucky and good enough to impress the judges and I made it to the final 10 singers who now have the chance to study opera from the professionals of their field.
The first lessons start on this Friday and I can not wait for them. I am so, so exited!!!!!! =D

Keep believing in your dreams and one day they will come true!
Dream it, Wish it, Do it!

The Sound of Autumn

Autumn. There is this scent of winter in the air.
The leaves have fallen and the cold has arrived. Even the first snow has arrived and the grass is covered with a thin layer of that white, wet and wonderful stuff.
You sit in the middle of lighted candles and look out of the window, following the slowly falling snowflakes with your sleepy eyes. The enchanting music plays dreamily and you drift away to wonderland.
Nice, isn't it? That's why I love Autumn. This feeling of the end and the hope of a new one. This peacefulness and calmness that crawls under your skin and makes you feel like you are floating. Like all the worries don't exist anymore. That everything is in its' best order. And you know what? Everything is in it's best order because Imperfection is Perfection in its' purest form.

From the very depths of the darkest forest..

The everlasting quietness is resting on the shoulders of this forest. It's dark and calling. Exiting as you can smell the danger of the woods. The tall and slim birches swing menacingly, towering over your head and hiding you from the reality. Trapping you inside this unreal world of shadows. You are afraid and you can not move. Every branch that moves in the air makes shivers crawl down your spine. Everything is alive. But what you don't know is that no one in this forest wants to hurt you. They want to protect you. Hide you from the harsh reality of the world outside of that place here. Protect you from pain, tears, betrayal and loneliness. Can't you hear them singing to you? The trees hushing the melody while the animals stamp the rhythm. The leaves dance around you making thousands of formations just to relax you. And there peeks a fairy from that tree trunk calling you to meet the magic. And you follow him to the depths of the forest wherefrom you never return...

Land elds og ís

Land elds og ís.

The land of fire and ice.
Finally we met and I could not resist you. I fell for you. You put your spell on me and now I am everlastingly trapped inside your magic.
Yes. This is Iceland and this is what it does with you. It catches you like a butterfly from the sky and holds you in it's arms without ever letting go. Ever. But you really don't want to leave it either.
The emptiness it creates inside you is like running away from everything bad you know. And all you can feel is blissfulness.

Big and small, hand to hand rule that land of rocks.

I knew what to expect. I did. Before stepping onto the plane I knew that my home for a week will be a land filled with mountains, ice, lava and rocks.
Then I saw it from the sky. Gorgeous.
And then I looked at it when I was leaving the Keflavik airport. Empty. I must admit, that at first I was a bit disapointed. There was nothing there! But as we slowly drifted away with our bus towards Reykjavik I was hooked. There was nothing but lava, lava rocks and moss and that was what got me. An entirely different environment. A different paradise. A dangerous paradise and a quite windy one I must say. =)
I was finally there. The land of the Vikings.

Will I be...

About Fourty six days have passed from that day when me and my family packed our things and started driving to Croatia.
About thirty six days have passed since the day we arrived back home.. Honestly, I have lost the track of time... Once again.
Now I am happily home. Almost every day I wake up at eight o'clock to go to work (which I LOVE).
I am doing the thing I am doing the best- I am communicating with people.
Working as a guide is probably one of my dream- jobs but I am not sure whether it is the job I would like to do for the rest of my life or not.
There are so many choices and possibilities that my head gets dizzy just from thinking about them. And to think that I have only two more years to figure out who I want to be..
Will I be a writer?
Will I be a journalist?
Will I be a doctor?
Will I be a coroner?
Will I be a guide?
Will I be a scientist?
Will I be a mucician?
Will I be a marine biologist
Will I be a racer?
Will I be an archeologist?
Will I be an adventurer?
Will I be an actor?
Or will I be something completley different? Like an astronaut? Or a secret agent?x) Or maybe I will become an alien.. who knows?! xD
I finally had some time to pick up my guitar again =)

I have got no bloody idea what is going on with my eyes, one moment they are perfectly grey and the other moment they are as blue as they can be. Those eyes here are not edited, honestly... just the rest of the pic has been made grey. I am glad to announce that I've got mutant eyes x)

ILOVEMYLIFE =)

A Hedgehog and The Moon

 Hello my dear readers =)
Yesterday when I was relaxing on the porch after a hard working day I heard somebody chomping in the bush next to the porch. I was instantly interested in what was making that noise so I sneaked to the bush and looked in it very carefully. And guess what I found! A perfect little Hedgehog was loudly eating a snail. I immediately raced back inside and grabbed my camera. And then me and the little hedgehog had a little photo shoot =)

I just adore hedgehogs! They are so different... At first they may seem like grumpy old men whom have nothing better to do than mutter to themselves :P But if you observe them long enough you will discover that they really are just gentle little creatures who are always hungry =)

In the evening I pulled the curtain away from the window and looked at the moon. It was a wonderful rust- red coloured bewitching circle in the middle of millions of stars. So once again I could not resist my urge to take a picture of it and I went outside, wearing nothing but my shorts and a T-shirt. I was a feast for the mosquitoes x)

The Moon is singing. The Moon is always singing.

Luckily I avoided the need to howl at the moon... Though I would have loved to do that :P But I think that the neighbors would have not appreciated it =)

Oh well... another post full of pictures! I hope you enjoyed it =)

7 MORE DAYS!

Some news and Spiders

Hello to you, who is reading this post! :P
So what kind of news do I have for you?
Oh, I have a lot of news, but before I share them with you I shall let my Spider madness take control over me and post several pictures of a visitor I had today- A lovely, pretty big spider =) Yeaaaah!
Today... I mean, well, technically yesterday, because once again I am in the mood of writing my blog in the middle of the night... 2.06  to be exact, anyways- today/ yesterday it was pretty rainy... or cloudy... something like that and I, once again, picked up my camera and went hunting for some cool creatures x)
Lovely spidy :D (That hand looks kind of retarded, but who cares? Not me! :P )
That spider was a real strongman!

At first I thought that I'd keep it, but then I felt sorry for s/he and let it go

Okay... I will not torture you with any more spidy- pics so I am just going to stop =)

So now to the other stuff :)

I have had this sudden urge to dance lately... I have no Idea why! Considering the fact that I can not dance.. at all.. I probably look pretty silly trying to break down some moves in the middle of the mall, but eh, that is just ME! :D Watching all those videos of young and awesome dancers dancing Hip- Hop, Locking ( I actually tried that at home... believe me, you probably would not want to see that), Newstyle, Freestyle, House, Popping... oh boy, I could go on and on with this... :D It just made me want to be a part of this brilliant world and meet all those fantastic people!

Maybe I should go and take some Dance lessons? Power Rangers moves, yeah, these I have.

And now to the most exiting stuff!
 I AM GOING TO CROATIA!!!!
I still can not believe it! I am counting the days... 15 more days and me and my family- we will hit the road!
Oh boy, I am going to see the blue sea! And maybe some Dolphins...I love dolphins, I have to see dolphins, even if i have to find a marine center to do that :P  Dolphinsdolphinsdolphins x)
Oh, and since I got my computer back from the repair, I will be bombarding you with loads and loads of pictures while I am there =)

And...
 I AM GOING TO ICELAND!!!!
I have no idea where i got this luck to travel so much in one year, but it comes out that I was chosen, once again, in a school nature project NordPlus Outdoor youth Europe, to go to Iceland for a week.  Totally ÜberAwesome!
Maybe I will also have a chance to post some pictures while being there.. hmm.. we'll see about that =)

Ohhh, and I discovered that I have a birthday on the same day as Draco Malfoy!!!! I like it... I LOVE it!!!

And maybe I have to mention that little fact too- I am going to the countryside and I am going to start writing a book about memories of the people who live there (At the request of my father- and I quite like that idea)

Oh dear.. that was a long post... The longest I have ever had I think :P
Anyways, I think I am going to hit the bed now. I have a lot of preparations to do in connection to writing the book of memories =)
Good Night! (Or morning, suit yourself :P )

The football broadcast is on, the rain is pattering against the roof, the candle flame is flickering and I am recalling my trip to Austria- where there were no mosquitos, by the way.

I almost died when I found my exact favourite car from a model cars shop. Colours and all! Fantastic!!!! The shop was called Helford. I have to get rich and go back there to buy that model car. The car is Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR (L)
And the same car from a little bit different angle

When Mari goes to Austria, what does she do? - That's easy, she climbes a TREE!!

There was a little garden called the Dwarf Garden.

It was a part of the Mirabell Garden in Salzburg, I loved those guys =)

What do you do when you lose your friend somewhere?- You take pictures... of everything including yourself! Ha!

And a really nice corner we found in a cute town. It looked just like a rainforest! o.o

It is 3.16 in the morning and I have gone through all my Austria pictures in just three hours- I'd say that is... impressive, eh? :D
I think it is finally time to go to bed now. After all, a girl needs her beauty sleep
 ( Hahaha, not me, I don't do " beauty sleep" i do Energy sleep!! :D ).

 Good night to you all!

Friday's Story

THE GIRL WHO WENT INTO WAR

Chapter Six

The opened coupe was just wonderful. It was like a little garden with its small bushes, wild grass, gorgeous flowers and mini trees. The coupe lied between the kitchen coupe, where the cooks worked, and the dinner coupe where the food was served. There weren't a lot of people here and it seemed really strange to me because this place truly was just brilliant. I could feel the wind rumpling my hair and before i could understand it, the shy boy Nate had caught a strand of my hair and put it behind my ear. I thanked him because if he hadn't done that, the strand would have probably ended up in my mouth and I hate it when it happens.

" No biggie," he said and turned away to catch a fuge from the mid-air. It amazed me how quick his hands were. " Here, take it," he smiled and put the fuge into my opened palms.

It was so beautiful. I think that it was a he, because I had heard, that male fuges have slimmer and more graceful wings. This fuge's wings were shiny purple and silver coloured. They swashed slowly, catching the air so I had to hold it from its legs so it couldn't fly away. It was astonishing how similar they were to us- humans. I would call them fairies, but they really don't look exactly like them... they are some kind of a mix of fairies, goblins and fenghuangs- this strange mix made them look mysteriously bewitching. The fuge, who was now calmly sitting in my hand, looking up to me, was beautiful.
Luke and Nate stood next to me, staring over my shoulder at the creature in my palms. Then Luke started singing:
" Picture yourself in a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies. Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly, a girl with kaleidoscope eyes. Cellophane flowers of yellow and green, Towering over your head. Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes, And she's gone...."
Luke was singing, he was indeed singing a song from The Beatles. And without any doubt I heard a tiny voice coming from the creature in my palms and it sounded like silver- so pure this voice was. My mouth fell open when I listened to the sound of Lukes and the fuge's voice melting together.
I got chills running all over my body.

Spring and ravens

Heey guys! ( Seriously, anyone who is reading this blog, thank you from the bottom of my heart.)
Soo, yeahs... I decided to give my blog a little bit of... colour =) What do you think?
Here is a little " before and after" picture comparement for you:

Before
Before

After
After

Yay, it is SPRING, almost SUMMER.
The apple trees are blossoming, the Sun is shining.. oh, and the smell of the freshly cut grass... This is something that is truly worth waiting for.

JUST IMMAGINE....

I am very, very exited!!! In about a week I am going on a class trip to Austria. Isn't it amazing? I think I already have to start packing this week because otherways I will probably forget something and realize it only when I am already in Austria. Happens every time- true story. =)

When I walked home from school today I leaned against a tree in the park- just to observe the Sun shining through the branches of the trees and the dandelions glowing in the grass. I have to admit that the sight was just breathtaking. Then suddenly I heard a strange knocking from the tree against what I was leaning. I looked around confused and thought that maybe it was a woodpecker, but no... to my surprise it was a raven who was enthusiastically tapping a branch of the tree until it fell off. My astonishment was big and I thought : Is this normal, do ravens usually do that kind of stuff or not? Before I could answer my question, my train of thought was cut off by another raven who started croaking at the raven who was tapping the branches and then another thought popped into my head- it is probably a little family argument because one of the ravens had tapped off the others favourite branch from the tree... Yeah, my thoughts really do get that strange sometimes :D

Take care and enjoy the weather! =)
